Job Summary
Conduct health histories, physical assessments, and surveillance medical monitoring including audiometry and spirometry. Administer medications, obtain vital signs, and assist with physical examinations while maintaining patient flow and privacy. Calibrate medical equipment, manage supply inventories, and respond to emergencies within legal scope of practice. Provide patient education, participate in peer review and quality improvement activities, and collaborate with the healthcare team under the Program Manager's guidance. Requires Ohio RN licensure, five years clinical experience, and COHN designation; works in a hybrid environment with occasional irregular hours.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Ohio
- Five Years of clinical experience in ambulatory, occupational, or emergency/critical care nursing
- COHN or COHN-S designation or eligible to obtain certification within 2 years of becoming eligible by criteria established by the American Board of Occupational Health Nurses
- Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support
- Completes annual Bloodborne Pathogen training
- Ability to walk, sit, or stand for extended periods
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to balance
- Ability to stoop
- Ability to talk or hear
- Sufficient manual dexterity to operate a keyboard, calculator, telephone, and other such office equipment

- Ability to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds or more with assistance
- A low amount of travel away from the office
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Certification in Emergency or Critical Care Nursing
- Certification in spirometry and audiometry
- Ability to perform venipunctures and obtain 12 lead EKG's
- Demonstrated experience conducting environmental multi-media facility audits
- Up-to-date completion of a NIOSH Spirometry Course and designation as an Occupational Hearing Conservationist through CAOHC
