Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intensive Care Med/Surg unit provides professional nursing services for patients, including those with complex health needs, administers prescribed treatments, assumes a leadership role within the health-care team, and coordinates patientCare and discharge planning. Requires post-graduate ICU nursing experience or ICU experience, graduation from an approved RN program, and current CRNM registration; BLS Level C certification is required. Works in a 0.70 FTE schedule with day/night/weekend shifts, in-person in Winnipeg at St. Boniface Hospital; duties include independent nursing services and collaboration with the care team. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program
- Current CRNM registration
- Post-graduate course in ICU Nursing or ICU experience
- Annual BLS Level C Registration/Re-Registration is required
