Job Summary
Independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders, established guidelines, and the Georgia Nurse Practice Act. Manage care for an assigned group of patients while reflecting values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment. Maintain licensure as a Registered Nurse in Georgia in good standing and hold Basic Cardiac Life Support certification. Complete 7am-4pm shifts. Northside Hospital is an award-winning, state-of-the-art facility in Atlanta expanding quality and reach of care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations
- Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
Desired Qualifications
- Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.)
- Other clinical specialty certifications in specific units
