Job Summary
The Registered Nurse coordinates direct patient care according to Nursing Care Standards and promotes adherence to IRMC's core values. Key responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and documenting patient care per interdisciplinary treatment plans, leading therapeutic groups, and providing patient/family education. The role requires collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team, leadership in nursing standards, and effective communication with patients and families. Candidates must have a current RN license in Pennsylvania, relevant nursing experience in med-surg and behavioral health, and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Possess current license as an RN in Pennsylvania or must pass nursing boards within 6 months of hire
- 1 year med-surg experience and/or 1 year geriatric experience
- 1 year of behavioral health experience
- BLS required or obtained within 1 month of hire
