Job Summary
Provide therapeutic and administrative patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager/Director in the Mother Baby unit, caring for women of childbearing age and newborns. Deliver compassionate couplet care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment managing complex cases. Maintain BLS certification and achieve NRP certification within six months. Operate on a full-time nights schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, including three 12-hour shifts and rotating weekends. Support the hospital's mission as a premier destination for Women's & Children's healthcare services.
Required Qualifications
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation
- Ability to achieve and maintain BLS
- NRP certification required within 6 months of hire
- FULL-TIME NIGHTS SCHEDULE: (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM) 3 12-hr shifts plus rotating weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- BSN preferred
- Professional certification in specialty practice area preferred
