Job Summary
Provides professional nursing care for assigned patients in the Mother Baby unit according to established standards and practices. Responsibilities include assessment of patients, developing and implementing a plan of care, and evaluating outcomes. Requires RN licensure in Georgia, AASN/ASN/BSN as appropriate with preferred Bachelor’s degree and 1+ year nursing experience. Certifications include BLS and NRP (or obtained within 6 months). The role involves careful documentation, collaboration with health professionals, and adherence to hospital core mission and quality improvement processes. Shift is Days, full-time at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA.
Required Qualifications
- 2 year / Associate Degree in Nursing (Required)
- 1+ years Nursing Experience (Preferred)
- Licenses and Certifications Required: Registered Nurse (RN) with current Georgia license
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or obtained within 6 months of hire
