Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the physical, social, and psychological status of patients on the night shift (7p-7a), utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practice. Direct the interdisciplinary care team through delegation and coordination while actively seeking involvement from patients, families, and physicians to develop individualized care plans. Evaluate patient responses to interventions and revise care plans as needed, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with legal and ethical standards. This role requires a current Registered Nurse license, BLS certification, and a BSN degree, with a focus on patient care delivery, critical thinking, and manual dexterity for equipment manipulation and patient transfers.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN). Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified
- Night shift 7p-7a
- eligible for shift differentials
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
