Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate postpartum patient care using the nursing process, including physical, social, and psychological status reviews. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans, delegate tasks, and coordinate patient education and referrals. Evaluate patient responses to interventions, revise care plans as needed, and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining legal and ethical standards. Perform patient transfers, ambulation, and equipment management in a busy hospital environment during night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. with shift differentials eligible. Requires current RN license and BLS certification; BSN required for new hires. Located at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN). Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified
- Night shift 7p-7a

Desired Qualifications
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
