Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the physical, social, and psychological status of Mom and Baby patients using evidence-based practice and interdisciplinary collaboration. Direct care delivery through delegation, coordinate resources, and manage time to ensure timely documentation and patient education. Collaborate with physicians, families, and support staff to develop individualized care plans, revise interventions based on clinical outcomes, and prepare patients for discharge with appropriate referrals. Maintain legal and ethical standards while operating complex monitoring equipment and transferring patients in a busy postpartum unit. Night shift coverage from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. with shift differentials available.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN). Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified
- Night shift 7p-7a
- eligible for shift differentials
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
