Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care of postpartum patients using the nursing process, evidence-based practice, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Direct care delivery through delegation, prioritize patient needs, and coordinate resources while ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with legal and ethical standards. Perform physical assessments of physical, social, and psychological status, manage patient education, and revise care plans based on clinical outcomes and family satisfaction. Requires a current Registered Nurse license, BLS certification, and BSN degree; works night shifts (7p-7a) with eligible shift differentials at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN). Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified
- Night shift 7p-7a

Desired Qualifications
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
