Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate postpartum patient care using the nursing process, evidence-based practice, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Direct care teams through delegation and coordination, manage patient priorities, and document accurate, timely records while adhering to legal and ethical standards. Perform physical assessments, monitor patient status, and revise care plans based on clinical outcomes and family satisfaction. Night shift rotation from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. with eligibility for shift differentials. Current RN license required with BSN degree; BLS certification mandatory. Located at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN). Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Night shift 7p-7a

Desired Qualifications
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
