Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the physical, social, and psychological status of postpartum patients using the nursing process and evidence-based practice. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans, delegate tasks, and coordinate patient discharge teaching and referrals. Monitor clinical outcomes, document care accurately, and adjust plans based on patient response and family satisfaction. Perform patient transfers, ambulate patients, and operate medical equipment while maintaining strict adherence to legal and ethical standards. Night shift coverage from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. with shift differentials available.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN). Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified
- Night shift 7p-7a
- eligible for shift differentials
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
