Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate postpartum patient care using the nursing process, therapeutic interventions, and evidence-based practice. Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members including physicians, family, and support staff while managing time, supplies, and resources to deliver patient-centered services. Direct delegation of tasks, ensure accurate documentation, and revise care plans based on patient response and clinical outcomes. Perform physical assessments of physical, social, and psychological status, including cognitive and developmental skills. Night shift rotation (7p-7a) with eligible shift differentials. Located at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado. Requires current RN license in the state of practice and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN). Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified
- Night shift 7p-7a

Desired Qualifications
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
