Registered Nurse - MOHS Surgery - MUSCP

Job Summary
Provides professional nursing care to MOHS surgery patients, documents patient histories, administers medications, and assists physicians during MOHS surgery procedures. Develops MOHS patient care plans with other medical professionals, monitors patient progress, and records observations. Teaches patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care to promote independence. Requires RN licensure and ongoing BSN education where applicable; hospital advocates for ongoing professional development and adherence to safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- RN license in South Carolina or a compact state
- Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred; BSN must be pursued if hired with Associate or Diploma nursing degree within two years and BSN within four years
- Minimum of one year of RN experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by AHA or Red Cross
