Job Summary
Build therapeutic relationships with patients and families while delivering care, administering medications, and managing chronic disease conditions. Conduct telephone triage, escalate concerns, and coordinate ongoing care within the Pain/Spine specialty. Perform clinical procedures during visits, ensure timely EMR documentation, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Mentor nursing staff and uphold high standards of patient safety and service. Work 40 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm with variable hours.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a State-approved school of nursing
- Current, unrestricted, license to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Up to date with current standard of nursing care in Specialty
- Computer experience with the ability to use word processing and spreadsheet programs
- Electronic medical record (EMR) experience and/or aptitude to master the EMR based on other technology experience

Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty
- 2+ years of RN experience
- Solid critical thinking, problem solving, interpersonal and patient interviewing skills
- Ability to interpret clinical information, assess the implication of treatment and develop and implement a plan of care
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work in a rapidly changing environment with multiple demands
- Excellence in practice, documentation, and cost-effective care utilization. Maintains high patient satisfaction
