Job Summary
Registered Nurse for the Acute Care Adult Medical Oncology Unit (3 East) at MetroHealth System. Role supports IV medication therapy, blood product transfusion, pain management, hospice and palliative care, and requires ability to obtain Chemotherapy Certification. Collaborates with LPNs, Patient Care Nursing Assistants, Nurse Interns, and Providers in an inpatient oncology setting with 30 beds total on the unit. Unit offers telemetry monitoring and utilization of advanced nursing technology; rotating shifts include weekends and holidays with bi-weekly hours of 72. Sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for qualifying experience. BSN preferred; Magnet Certification credential is recognized as preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
- Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire
