Job Summary
Join our Acute Care Adult Medical Oncology Unit (3 East) as a Registered Nurse in the MetroHealth System. Inpatient Oncology unit includes 16 dedicated beds with cross-training for Bone Marrow Transplant and Medical/Surgical Overflow. Responsibilities include IV medication therapy, blood product transfusion, pain management, Hospice and palliative care, and the ability to obtain chemotherapy certification. Collaborate with LPNs, PCNAs, Nurse Interns, and Providers. Opportunity for professional growth with tuition reimbursement and certification incentives. Unit recognizes Nurses' Week Interprofessional Collaboration Award Winners; rotating shifts include 7a-7p and 7p-7a with rotating weekends and holidays. Sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for qualifying experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
- Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
