Job Summary
Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) at MetroHealth Main Campus, East Cleveland, OH. 14-bed CCSD unit caring for patients with congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA, and sepsis; duties include EKG interpretation, central line care, Rescue Bi-PAP, high-flow oxygen, and assisting with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies). Requires strong critical thinking, delegation, and time management; collaborates with PCNAs, interns, providers, PT, OT. Opportunities include tuition reimbursement and certification incentives. Licensure as an Ohio RN and current BLS; ACLS required within 6 months (ACLS within 6 months; BLS within 90 days). Preferred BSN and Magnet-recognized professional certification. Sign-on bonuses up to $10,000 for experienced RNs and $5,000 for new graduates. Location: MetroHealth Main Campus; East Cleveland, Ohio.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
- Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire
- Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
