Job Summary
Plan, prepare, and provide individualized, direct preoperative care to in- and outpatients in the Surgery department using the nursing process. Perform duties consistent with Mercy mission, values, and Service Standards. Maintain current RN licensure in the state of practice, with at least two years of Surgery, Perioperative, or Critical Care experience. Hold BLS certification; ACLS and PALS are preferred. Full-time, 40-hour week at Mercy South in St. Louis, MO. Requires ability to push, pull, lift 50 lbs, and prolonged standing/walking. Required Qualifications
- current RN licensure in the state of practice
- at least 2 years of Surgery, Perioperative or Critical Care experience
- BLS certification
- ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
- prolonged standing and walking during each shift
- ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
Desired Qualifications
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
