Job Summary
Registered Nurse position at Mercy focused on delivering patient care through the nursing process. Responsibilities include providing patient care, maintaining professional accountability for care provided to assigned patients, evaluating the effectiveness of care delivered by direct care givers, coordinating patient care with other departments, and upholding patient rights and confidentiality in alignment with Mercy Service Standards. Requires RN licensure in the hiring state or compact license, and typically requires Basic Life Support with potential unit-specific certifications (ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM, and other certifications as required). Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs, prolonged standing/walking, and ability to bend/kneel/twist. Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Licensure: current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Certifications: BLS; additional certifications such as ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, STABLE, C-EFM as required by unit
