Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care while maintaining professional accountability for assigned patients. Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers and coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information in a manner consistent with Mercy Service Standards. This full-time, on-site role at Mercy Hospital St. Louis requires a current RN license and an associate's degree, diploma, or BSN, with no prior experience needed. The schedule consists of five 8-hour shifts one week and four 8-hour shifts the next, with no on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from a school of nursing (associate's degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
