Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans, recording and communicating patient conditions as appropriate. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders while assessing and coordinating patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. This role operates within the MedTele department at Saint Thomas West in Nashville, TN, requiring a full-time night shift schedule.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition 'Compact State' obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- Required professional licensure at time of hire
