Job Summary
Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle, and oversees shift operations. Provides clinical care as needed, communicates patient care and staff concerns to leadership, and serves as a resource for guidance to staff in a MedSurg/Hospital setting. Requires RN licensure in Georgia, BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, AWHONN fetal monitoring, and related certifications; ~1 year of hospital nursing experience; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Registered Nurse
- Georgia RN licensure (GA) or multistate licensure (NLC/eNCL)
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS Certification
- PALS Certification
- NRP (per unit)
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Program within 12 months (Labor and Delivery) or within 1 year
- PEARS Certification
- PALS if unit cares for pediatric patients
- ACLS & PALS certification requirement for certain units
- Graduate from recognized nursing school
- ~1 year nursing experience in hospital setting
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
