Job Summary
Provide safe, holistic care to individuals and families on the Medical Ward, applying best clinical practice to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional person-centred care using strong communication and customer service skills. Maintain a safe environment while adhering to infection control requirements, including obtaining necessary vaccinations and undergoing criminal history checks. Work across a 24/7 fortnightly rotating roster as part of the Buderim Private Hospital team, supporting the UnitingCare mission to improve health and wellbeing across Queensland.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 months' experience in an acute care/hospital setting
- Bachelor of nursing degree or equivalent
- AHPRA registration
- Commitment to patient safety and quality improvements
- Desire for ongoing professional development
- Availability to work across a 24/7 fortnightly rotating roster
- Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements
- Willingness to undergo national criminal history check and functional assessment
