Job Summary
Assess and admit patients, perform rounding checks, administer medications, and communicate with family members to oversee overall patient care in a high-acuity telemetry environment. Execute the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care, teaching, and evaluation while maintaining professional standards in ethics, communication, and evidence-based practice. Ensure all staff hold valid RN licensure in Virginia, BLS, and NIHSS certifications within 90 days of hire. This full-time night shift role supports Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center's Magnet® recognition and mission to improve health daily through interdisciplinary collaboration and professional autonomy.
Required Qualifications
- RN License valid to work in the State of Virginia
- BLS certification
- NIHSS certification within 90 days of hire
- RN Diploma, ADN, BSN or MSN degree

- Previous RN experience
- New Grad RN status
