Job Summary
Assess patients and collect health data involving families and providers. Coordinate patient care plans to ensure interventions are safe, timely, and appropriate. Communicate clearly with all stakeholders in person, by phone, and in writing. Individualize patient and family teaching based on thorough assessments. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness. Maintain professional knowledge of current nursing standards, laws, and regulations. This Registered Nurse role is on the Medical Surgical Unit at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL. Full-time positions work 36 hours per week from 7:00pm to 7:30am, every other weekend.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing
- Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- Charge nurse experience preferred
