Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care on the medical-surgical unit by systematically evaluating care quality, developing unique care plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions. Collect assessment data, determine nursing diagnoses, and collaborate with the inter-professional team to set goals and evaluate patient outcomes. Educate patients and families on health promotion measures while fostering a supportive environment through mentorship. Perform point-of-care testing as needed and maintain constant alertness for patient safety. Work the night shift (7pm-7:30am) with self-scheduling, every third weekend off, and holiday requirements. No on-call rotation applies.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- State of Work Location: Missouri
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
- Registered Nurse (RN) Issued by Compact State
- Night Shift (United States of America)
