Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Conduct direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols by systematically evaluating the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice. Develop and implement individualized care plans using the nursing process, including collecting assessment data, determining nursing diagnoses, and evaluating patient outcomes. Establish effective relationships with patients, families, and the inter-professional team to facilitate care development and collaborative decision-making. Educate patients and families on measures that promote, maintain, and restore health while fostering a healthy work environment through mentorship. Perform point of care testing as assigned and work in a constant state of alertness. Requires a Registered Nurse license and BLS certification for Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, or Wisconsin; available for night shift PRN work.
