Job Summary
Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, including age-appropriate admission and transfer evaluations, while documenting findings and educating patients and families on discharge needs. Establish and evaluate patient care plans based on assessment data, physician orders, and evidence-based practices, coordinating daily care with the health team and communicating accurate handoff reports. Administer medications and IV fluids per policy, monitor patient conditions, and implement pain management or restraint protocols as required. Maintain infection control standards, ensure safe patient handling, and promptly report changes in clinical status or risks to the physician.

- Current license and certifications
- Up to date BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Up to date HI (Hepatitis B Immunity)
- Annual TB Screening
- Annual Influenza vaccination
- Annual Ethics Training
- Annual Safety Training
- Required Information Security course
- Required Abuse & Neglect course
- Annual Blood Borne Pathogens training
- Coursework as assigned
- Annual competency
- Age/Population specific competency
- Orientation competency
- Service Specific competency
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to effectively lead and coach others
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional teams
- Valid driver's license
