Job Summary
Provides direct nursing care in a medical-surgical setting per established policies and protocols; applies the nursing process to develop and implement individualized care plans, assesses patient needs, determines diagnoses and outcomes, and coordinates interventions with an inter-professional team. Communicates effectively with patients, families, and care collaborators; educates patients and families on measures to promote health and comfort; demonstrates leadership by mentoring colleagues and applying evidence-based practice to care. Night shift, full-time schedule; requires active RN license in Illinois and BLS certification; sign-on bonus available for external candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- State license: Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
