Job Summary
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care as a Registered Nurse in Trauma Spine. Assess patient condition on admission and each shift, promptly identify changes, perform procedures and monitor/ document care as ordered, administer prescribed medications and monitor responses, educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up measures, and collaborate with medical providers and the care team to ensure outstanding patient experience and positive clinical outcomes. The role is offered with a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance; Mission Hospital is located in Asheville, NC, and is part of HCA Healthcare.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in BSN with plan to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire
- Current RN licensure in North Carolina (eNLC license may apply)
- BLS Healthcare Provider certification
- One year nursing experience in a clinical setting
- Preferred: Masters in Nursing; National Certification in area of specialty
- Exemption for BSN from some facilities with tracking of exemptions
