Registered Nurse Medical Surgical Spine

Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care as a Registered Nurse in Trauma Spine within a hospital setting. Assess the patient’s condition on admission and during each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting changes in status. Perform procedures, monitoring, or other ordered functions, and ensure thorough and timely documentation of care in the patient’s medical record. Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic responses, and take appropriate action for any unintended effects. Respond promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipate needs, and educate patients, families, and caregivers about the medical condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures to ensure complete understanding by translating medical terminology. Collaborate with the care team to provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care in line with department and specialty standards.
