Job Summary
Administer and implement medical investigation and therapeutic programs for patients while providing organization, direction, and supervision in the planning of nursing best practices. Develop and implement nursing care, treatment, and discharge plans through collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Communicate orally and in writing regarding patient care, advocate for patient well-being, and teach relevant clinical skills. Maintain current registration with the Yukon Registered Nurses Association and hold CPR certification. This role offers an hourly range of $49.73 - $66.42 at the L09 level with generous vacation time, an annual Yukon bonus, and relocation allowance.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of established practices and procedures of professional nursing care
- Knowledge of trends and developments in the nursing field

- Advocacy and assertiveness skills
- Basic computer literacy
- Ability to teach nursing practices and other relevant clinical skills
- Ability to develop and implement nursing care/treatment/discharge plans
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing
- Cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity
- Diploma/Baccalaureate degree in Nursing
- Minimum of (1) one year nursing experience related to the assigned specialty area(s) or specific online course completion for the specialty area(s)
- Currently registered or able to be licensed with Yukon Registered Nurses Association (YRNA)
- Current C.P.R certification
