Job Summary
Deliver safe patient care within the Med/Surg/Telemetry Unit by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions. Direct patient and family teaching while guiding activities of other nursing personnel to maintain standards of care. Communicate with physicians regarding changes in clinical conditions, including cardiac monitoring and diagnostic study results, responding quickly to patient status changes. Work full-time night shifts from 7:00pm to 7:30am in 3-12-hour rotations at Prime Healthcare Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, IL.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
- Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current
- Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire
- Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
