Job Summary
Assess patients, develop individualized plans of care, and provide direct medical/surgical nursing care in an acute inpatient setting. Monitor patient status, validate priorities with the healthcare team, and document progress toward discharge goals while ensuring safety and cost containment. Coordinate discharge planning, educate patients and families, and perform quality improvement audits. Requires a current RN license, Associate degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), and one year of clinical experience; weekend, holiday, and on-call shifts may be scheduled.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Nursing
- One (1) year experience as a registered nurse
- Holds a current RN compact/multistate license recognized by the NCSBN Compact State or is licensed to practice as an RN in the state the team member is working
- The acute inpatient setting may require staff to be scheduled for a weekend, holiday, and on-call work
