Job Summary
Conduct bedside care for patients with congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA, sepsis, and respiratory failure on a 14-bed critical care step-down unit. Interpret EKGs, manage central lines, and operate rescue Bi-pap, high-flow oxygen, and trach/vent systems. Assist with bedside procedures including endoscopies and bronchoscopies while collaborating with PCNAs, nurse interns, and providers. Requires current Ohio RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS certifications; PRN roles demand one year of relevant experience. Full-time bi-weekly schedule of 72 hours with rotating weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation)
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
- Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire
- Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
- 1 year of relevant RN experience
- all required certifications upon hire
