Job Summary
Manage patient care for a 14-bed Critical Care Step Down Unit treating populations with congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA, and sepsis. Perform EKG interpretation, central line care, and assist with bedside procedures including endoscopies and bronchoscopies. Utilize skills in rescue Bi-pap, high-flow oxygen, and tracheostomy/vent management while collaborating with PCNAs, nurse interns, and providers. Work rotating shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. or 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., including weekends and holidays, with bi-weekly hours of 72. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation)
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
- Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire
- Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
- 1 year of relevant RN experience
- all required certifications upon hire
