Job Summary
Assess patient conditions during admission and scheduled shifts, promptly reporting status changes. Perform procedures and monitor patients for therapeutic responses to medications, ensuring thorough documentation. Administer prescribed medications and take appropriate action for unintended responses. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on medical conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up measures. Collaborate with medical providers to deliver personalized, comprehensive care while advocating for patient needs.
Required Qualifications
- One year of RN experience
- Associate degree in nursing (ADN)
- Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing
- BLS Healthcare Provider certification
Desired Qualifications
- Hospital nursing experience
- Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN)
- National Certification in area of specialty
