Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Systematically evaluate quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to increase patient and family quality of life. Use the nursing process to develop, implement, and evaluate plans of care, including collecting assessment data, determining diagnoses, and identifying expected outcomes. Collaborate with patients, families, and inter-professional teams to set goals, plan interventions, and make culturally sensitive, ethical, and compassionate decisions. Educate patients and families on measures that promote, maintain, and restore health. Serve as a mentor and role model for nursing colleagues, students, and others. Perform point of care testing as assigned. Work in a constant state of alertness while maintaining a safe manner.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
