Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols by systematically evaluating the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice. Establish effective relationships with patients, families, and significant others to facilitate unique care plans, while utilizing the nursing process to develop, implement, and evaluate plans of care based on physical, functional, cultural, social, economic, developmental, spiritual, vocational, and leisure dimensions. Coordinate and collaborate with the inter-professional team, communities, and other providers to assess needs, set goals, and make culturally sensitive, ethical, and compassionate decisions. Educate patients and families on measures that promote, maintain, and restore health, and serve as a mentor and role model for nursing colleagues, students, and others. Maintain a constant state of alertness and safe manner, performing point of care testing as needed and applying evidence-based practice to address age-specific and clinical needs.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
- Registered Nurse (RN) Issued by Compact State
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Oklahoma Board of Nursing (OBN)
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services
