Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Cardiac

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols by systematically evaluating the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice. Develop and implement the plan of care using the nursing process, including collecting assessment data, determining diagnoses, identifying outcomes, and evaluating patient results. Establish effective relationships with patients, families, and the inter-professional team to facilitate unique care plans and participate in collaborative, culturally sensitive decision-making. Educate patients and families on measures that promote, maintain, and restore health while fostering a healthy work environment as a mentor and role model. Apply evidence-based practice and scientific knowledge to medical-surgical nursing based on patient age-specific and clinical needs. Perform point of care testing and other duties as assigned in a constant state of alertness.
