Job Summary
Render highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Direct and supervise other assigned team members while collaborating with multidisciplinary staff to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards. Communicate clearly, build relationships to promote collaboration, and take initiative for professional growth within a 12X3 day shift schedule. Work in a 294-bed acute-care hospital serving North Texas, part of a faith-based system recognized for Magnet designation and Level III Trauma capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Current additional certifications as required by department
- Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
- At least 2 years RN experience
- Various weekend shifts
- 12X3 Day work shift
