Job Summary
Staff RN to join MultiCare Cancer Institute's hospital-based oncology team. Responsibilities include organizing patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating using the nursing process per hospital policies; collaborating with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction; fostering a learning environment for patients, families, and staff; advocating for ethical and holistic care respecting diverse backgrounds. Requirements include a BSN (or obtained within five years of hire), RN license in Washington, current BLS, and relevant certifications (ACLS/NALS/PALS/TNCC/NRP as required). Preferred: MSN/PhD/DNP or ARNP; internal candidates may be considered in lieu of an education agreement. Experience: 3+ years required; 1 year acute care preferred. FTE 0.9; Shift Day; Monday–Friday. Urgent hiring with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and 24-month commitment.
Required Qualifications
- BSN
- RN license in Washington State or multi-state licensure
- BLS Certification
- ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP certification as required by facility or department
- One year of experience in acute care preferred
- Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
