Job Summary
Registered Nurse Medical Oncology role providing direct nursing care and coordination of care within an oncology unit. Responsibilities include assessing patients on admission and during shifts, administering medications, monitoring therapeutic responses, documenting care, responding to patient needs, and educating patients, families, and caregivers about the condition and treatment plans. Requires RN licensure in Texas/Compact state, BCLS, and completion of chemotherapy immunotherapy administration course within 6 months of hire; ADN or BSN with 1-2 years nursing experience preferred; ONS/ONCC chemotherapy immunotherapy certification desirable. Required Qualifications
