Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the physical, social, and psychological status of patients using the nursing process, evidence-based practice, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Direct care delivery by delegating tasks, managing time and resources, and coordinating with physicians, families, and support staff to develop individualized plans of care. Evaluate patient response to interventions, revise care plans as needed, and ensure accurate, timely documentation while adhering to legal and ethical standards. Requires current Registered Nurse licensure, Basic Life Support certification, and strong communication skills for frequent interactions with patients and providers. Located at St. Marys Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
Desired Qualifications
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
