Registered Nurse Medical Oncology

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the physical, social, and psychological status of patients using the nursing process and evidence-based practice. Direct the interdisciplinary care team through delegation and collaboration, prioritizing care delivery while managing time, supplies, and resources. Collaboratively develop individualized care plans with patients, families, and physicians, including education and referrals. Evaluate patient response to interventions and revise care plans as needed, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of all activities. Maintain legal and ethical standards within the scope of licensure while coordinating with other health team members.
