Registered Nurse, Medical Oncology floor - Nights

Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain professional accountability for assigned patients on the Medical Oncology floor. Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers and coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments. Perform duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards while obtaining and maintaining current RN licensure. Acquire required certifications such as OCN, CPHON, or TNCC based on unit needs. End shift with prolonged standing and walking. Work nights with outstanding benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO, tuition support, and matched retirement for 32+ hours per pay period.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- One or more of the following certifications: ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, Sugar/Temperature/Airway/Blood Pressure/Lab Work/Emotional Support Six Assessment & Care Modules, or other unit-specific certifications as required
