Job Summary
Registered Nurse provides highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care. Responsibilities include clear communication, relationship-building for collaboration, accountability, patient experience improvement, professional growth, and engagement with the care team. Requires BSN preferred, BLS, department-specific certifications, and Texas RN license (or eligibility); minimum 6 months RN experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Current additional certifications as required by department
- Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
- Work experience: at least 6 months RN experience
