Job Summary
The RN coordinates nursing care, including direct patient care and patient/family education, and oversees transitions of care. Works within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model, providing leadership through preceptor roles and quality-improvement efforts; delegates care based on skill level and resources; strong communication and mentoring abilities required. May drive a personal vehicle as part of responsibilities. TN sponsorship is available; state licensure and Visa Screen or equivalent certification are required. Schedule includes days/evenings/nights/holidays/weekends with every-other-weekend shifts; multiple Mayo Clinic campuses (Phoenix/Scottsdale, Jacksonville, Rochester, MN, and Midwest locations) are listed as sites. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nursing program.
- Current RN license by applicable state requirements.
- Arizona and Florida - Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) competency.
- Additional state licensure(s) and/or specialty certification/training as required by the work area.
- Ability to work flexible hours, which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends and on-call.
