Registered Nurse-Medical Inpatient Full Time Nights

Perform comprehensive assessments on assigned patients, derive realistic outcomes, and modify care plans to identify patient goals. Collaborate with families and the healthcare team to plan care, including discharge planning and referrals for palliative care. Administer medications safely using bar coding, conduct hourly rounds, and ensure complete documentation in the EMR while utilizing the Alaris pump and bed management system. Lead patient care or support techs when assigned, take clinical leads during condition changes, and participate in unit huddles and quality initiatives. Maintain a safe environment by preventing pressure ulcers, falls, and infections, and adhere to the State of Illinois Nurse Practice Act.
